The Commander in Chief vs. Germany

„The Germans are evil, very evil “, Trump is reported to have said a couple of days ago. For a moment I thought, that his visit to Israel’s Holocaust memorial Yad Vashem, two days before, was still haunting him. But Trump, explained, "Look at the millions of cars they sell in the U.S. We'll stop that."

Here is Trump’s note after his visit to Yad Vashem.

  1. He didn't say "evil".
    He said "bad".

  2. According to the press reports I read, Trump said: "The Germans are bad, very bad."

That is supposed to have said "evil", rather than "bad". might qualify as fake news, might it not?

    1. When the pope says evil it is different than bad. Even George W. did. Trump, as you say, is simple, as is his language and I do not believe that he differentiates between bad and evil.
